Benefit for The Komera Project in San Francisco

Three reasons you should attend the auction to benefit The Komera Project this Thursday, August 1st:

  1. There are going to be lots of great items featured at this auction, one of which is an entry-level design package from yours truly. I am donating a single room schematic design package value $1,500. Great way to get started on a project for really any room in your home.
  2. The auction will take place at Big Daddy’s, an antique store so gorgeous it’s regularly rented out to professional photographers and movie studios looking for exotic backdrops. In addition to the auction items for sale, you’ll be surrounded by a hundred irresistible items like Victorian pulley lamps, antique signs and old-timey suitcases and trunks.
  3. The most important reason: The Komera Project is changing the lives of girls growing up in Rwanda, but the impact is larger than that. Raising the status of women in a society has been shown to have the biggest impact in improving that society. And in a global economy, that makes the whole world a better place. If you want to find out more, check out this blog I wrote on their website about why I’m contributing to Komera Project.
