What’s the
story of
Design Path?

Alden Miller has led residential design projects for over 25 years, guiding large-scale work from first sketch to final installation. This experience honed her understanding of how projects truly unfold and also how easily homeowners can become separated from the very decisions that shape how they live.

All too often, the design process is done for people rather than experienced with them. Alden believes our connection to materials, proportion, color, and light is deeply personal, and that homeowners deserve the chance to engage meaningfully in shaping their own home.

When Alden met Adi Wise—an operations expert focused on creative teams—they discovered a shared conviction: design succeeds when vision and process are equally strong.

Together they created Design Path to empower homeowners with both confidence and agency. The Design Path model is an evolution of full-service design that restores the design experience to the very people who are going to live with the results.
