Make Room – A West Coast Throwback

As a featured design firm for Make Room, the American Craft Council show at Fort Mason, San Francisco, we created a vignette inspired by craft and its relationship to interior space. The theme for the show was ‘Four Directions’ and our direction was ‘West’. West is home. Our connection to the coast, the sun and the sea inspired the the design of this room. The sun always sets in the West, but in California the experience is amazing. The sun meets the ocean, and for a brief moment we watch it sink into another world. This room is about that moment. Luminescent materials, aquatic-inspired objects and vibrant colors collide to create a space rich with California living.
