Ronald McDonald House – Where Hope Has a Home
by Alden Miller | June 20, 2015 | Kids Rooms, Noteworthy, RMH Stanford - "Where Hope Has a Home"
I’m thrilled to announce my participation in the Ronald McDonald House Where Hope Has a Home project presented by the San Francisco Design Center and SFC&G.
Like many of you, my family is the most important thing in my life. That’s why, when I was given the opportunity to join the SFDC and help other families in their time of need, I was more than honored to be a part of the cause.
For those who don’t know, Ronald McDonald House is an organization that provides families a place to live while coping when their child is recieving treatment for a severe illness. RMH allows families to focus on what matters most –the recovery of their child. Not only does this gift help relieve some of the financial strain of temporary housing, but it provides a community to support the needs of the whole family. The SFDC has gathered a team of dedicated Bay Area designers, and together we are making it possible to provide these families not only physical space but a well designed home away from home. I’m excited to update everyone on this project and the selections and donations that will be a part of the design. Let’s help give these families a home that inspires hope and healing.
