ASPIRE DESIGN & HOME magazine is featuring our Palo Alto project in the summer 2018 issue. Providing interior design services for this Bay Area home remodel was both rewarding and challenging, the sign of a really great project! We accomplished a dramatic update to the 1970’s mediterranean style home with an improved interior layout and modern version of California 70’s style. The intention was to create a visually and functionally welcoming space for the family and their guests. To do this we updated the home’s interior architecture to create a better flow between rooms and thoughtfully designed each space to best serve it’s purpose.

The clients wanted the style to reflect their childhood memories of living in California and Hawaii in the 1970s with an updated, modern feel. To create the desired ambiance in the home, we brought in unique and stunning pieces from Michael Anastassiades, The Rug Company, and George Smith, and more. We used materials from Heath Ceramics, Henrybuilt, and Timorous Beasties, plus many other inspiring makers and manufacturers as noted in the ASPIRE feature.

We believe in interior design for living and approach each project with a goal of creating a space that meet’s our clients needs and desires for a welcoming place for their family.
